One could dine at restaurants such as Cafe Vida 10 minutes away. Our favourite hotel in La Paz, stuff was excellant❤
-
hostel was tidy and well maintained. useful staff, greeted us with such kindness.
-
Simple, clean rooms. Wifi and cable tv were good as my boyfriend was sick during our stay. Warm in lobby and room which was a nice change for La Paz! Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was fine in downstairs cafe.
The staff weren't particularly friendly or welcoming, but you don't come to La Paz for the staff at a hotel do you! So it wasn't a big problem!

Location, good reastaurant just below, good breakfast.
Noisy or smelly rooms above restaurant, rip off for making phone calls through the hotel, rip off for organizing tours. Let you wait in front of closed doors if you are even only 2 minutes too early, before letting you in to the dining room for breakfast.

I arrived in La Paz in the middle of the night and they were very helpful in arranging a car to pick me up. The location is great, right next to the Plaza de San Francisco, and the staff kind and friendly.
My room didn't have a window and due to some remodeling downstairs smelled a bit like paint.

The hotel itself was pleasant and centrally located for tourist facilities.
The street outside the hotel was being dug up and it was crowded and noisy there.
-
I have been there before and love the place - feels like home.

The staff were very friendly and helpful concerning my needs and requests. The room in which I stayed was spacious and attention was payed to the small things... Room cleaned daily, had a hair dryer, shampoo, and other items a more expensive hotel would have. They had room service, laundry facilities, a phone, and a very good restaurant. The location was central to maning stores and activities.
I was very satisfied with Hostel Naira.

Breakfast in the ajoining cafe was good. That is all
We were first attracted by the positive reviews, however arriving tired after a trip to the amazon we were given a room on the ground next to extremely loud building works. They appear to be excavating the floor below the hotel, and the noise which went on till 10pm was unbearable, with dust bellowing into our room. When we complained the guy on the desk offered no appology and took quite an aggressive 'what do you want me to do about it?' attitude.we needed a good night sleep, and had we known in advance would not have stayed here. No prior warning or discount for the inconvinience. I had a look at what was going on and can't see this being finished for at least 2 months. over priced, angry staff, and extremely loud building work till 10pm every night. Avoid. we also stayed at estrelle andina for 3 nights which had friendly staff, big rooms and at a fraction of the cost was delightful.

There is an attached cafe/restaurant wich is just exellent. Breakfast is also served there. Location is the best for visiting historical La Paz. Hostel is quiet, no noise from outside, as soon the restaurant is closed.
Staff at reception is very unfriendly and unhelpful! At the moment the Hostel is very noisy, under costruction.

Great location, great price. The people at the Naira were incredibly kind and helpful and we loved being able to walk out the door and into the tourist shopping area and then wander down the Mariscal Santa Cruz. Our room was large, beds were comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. The restaurant downstairs provided fruits, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, breads and juices for breakfast. In fact, we ate dinner in the restaurant twice because the food was delicious. We would definitely re- book with the Naira on another visit to La Paz.
None, we had read about rooms above the restaurant and kitchen area so we specifically asked not to be in that area of the hotel. Everything was excellent.

Great location.Nice breakfast.Pictures on the web dont really do the hotel justice. Its better than it looks.
Some rooms open internally onto an inner courtyard used by the attached (very nice) cafe so could be a little noisy perhaps in the evenings.
